Typographic expression of the poem 'Dolce et Decorum Est' by Wilfred Owen.

The poem ends with the Latin phrase, “Dolce et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori”, which translates to “it’s sweet and honourable to die for one’s country.” The essence of the poem is about the ugliness of war and how the Latin phrase told in the past to children is a lie and should be proven wrong, which is what I tried to capture in my piece through custom type.
